This policy explains what information Worth It Cards (worthitcards.com.au) collects and how it’s used. Short version: we collect very little, we sell nothing, and you can read this site without creating an account.
What we collect
Analytics: we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and how visitors find the site. GA4 uses cookies and collects technical data (pages viewed, device type, approximate location from IP, referral source). This data is aggregated – we don’t use it to identify individuals. You can opt out with Google’s browser add-on or by blocking analytics cookies.
Calculators: the numbers you enter into our calculators (spending amounts, points balances, debts) are processed in your browser only. They are not transmitted to us, stored, or logged.
Email: if you email us, we keep the correspondence to respond and for our records. We don’t add you to any list without asking.
Affiliate links
When you click an affiliate link, the destination network sets its own cookies to attribute any application to this site. That tracking is governed by the privacy policy of the network and the card issuer, not ours. See our affiliate disclosure for how these links work.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell or rent personal information. We don’t collect financial details – card applications happen entirely on the issuer’s website, never on ours. We don’t run third-party advertising networks.
Data security and overseas transfer
The site is hosted on servers that may process data outside Australia (analytics data is processed by Google globally). We take reasonable steps consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles to protect the limited information we hold.
Access, correction and complaints
To access or correct information we hold about you (realistically: email correspondence), or to make a privacy complaint, contact [email protected]. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
